@Courtney_J This is a nice idea. I was diagnosed early this year and was totally blindsided even though it kind of runs in my family. I just never thought it could happen to me! I was due to go in for surgery right when the coronavirus hit and between my doctor and me and the hospital we decided to postpone. So I'm going in for my hysterectomy this Friday! I'm really starting to get scared because it's all finally happening and I don't know what to expect. I've had my moments where I was down about this, but I'm a pretty positive person so I've been dealing with it pretty well. They were able to catch it early so unless something crazy has happened since the beginning of the year, I should be ok.

For fun, my favorite thing is to run with my dogs. And they seem to love it too. Hope you're all doing alright!

I have been cancer free for over 2 years but recently been having what feels like menstrual cramps and pain in the right side of my back. I have a CT scan and bloodwork scheduled for the week of the 19th but I am trying to find anyone who had recurrence to see if they had the same symptoms that I am having. Thanks.

I was diagnosed in October of 2019. I was completely blindsided I had no pain and no real symptoms. The only thing that stood out was I was extremely tired. After a couple of weeks of being tired I started having a hard time taking a deep breath. It was then that my husband took me to the ER and they did a CT scan and came back and said that I had stage 4 ovarian cancer. They said the scan showed 6 softball-size tumors in my abdomen and that my lymph nodes are swollen as well. Not knowing what to do I lay there in my hospital bed and handed it over to God. I told Him that I had no idea what to do and then if he would lead me I would follow. Needless to say He did just that. I was hooked up with an amazing oncology team and a surgeon who later did my hysterectomy. I had 4 rounds of chemo before my surgery and 2 rounds after. When my surgeon got in there she was surprised that there were no tumors only calcification left where they had been. My tumor marker numbers went from 7900 down to 11 and no time. I am so blessed that God took this fight for me. I finish chemo in April and currently have an avastin infusion every 3 weeks and take lymparza daily. My problem is that I'm so tired. My poor husband does almost everything around the house. I get tired just walking to the kitchen. I have tried to walk a little more each day and build up but I still can't do more than three laps around the house at a time. I'm eating healthy and I don't appear to be dehydrated. My oncologist has checked my iron And it is fine. My red blood count and hemoglobin are a little low and my platelets are very low. Has anyone else experienced being so tired the time after chemo has ended?
