Suppose to go out of town in a couple of weeks for my husband's birthday weekend.  We'll be staying at a hotel that we & our family have stayed at in the summer for many years.  They have told us all the CDC precautions they are taking & the hotel has always been very clean prior to all this.  The case rate is low in the county we're going to & only an hour from home.  Ofcouse little afraid of going.  Other than just going back to work for a day and a 1/2 week, picking up some groceries, I've basically made myself homebound. Anxiety, afraid of this virus.  Just curious on others feeling about a short get away.

@Bellabay12 Hello Bellabay12, thank you for starting this discussion. I think many of us are worried about travel right now. Let me tag some members who can share their thoughts and advice on this.

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. How are you feeling about travel right now? Are you worried about coming into contact with the virus? What do you think? Will you or have you cancelled travel plans?

I am fortunate to be able to work at home. I go to the store once a week for groceries but other than that not venturing out. I am staying in my house for as long as possible. Stay safe everyone!

@Bellabay12 Hey Bella, I understand that stressed feeling. I don't know which state you're in, but I'd keep an eye on the news and your state government health updates and try to track it from there. If you decide to go I'd definitely take your mask and try to stay away from people as much as you can and keep a distance at checkout counters, restaurants and all of that. Depending on where you are there may be lots of new cases popping up after the demonstrations with so many people gathering in one place. I hope you can go, just try to keep yourself safe! <3
