@Ashleymac2417 I have my son in law AND my daughter living with me, both have incomes, my daughter is my caregiver, maybe call your local SS office and ask or check their website, I'm sure you're not the only one who's had this question ;) good luck!

@les1967 that’s awesome you have them to help. But I don’t think I can work with being on disability. I just need to figure it out. Any suggestions on hobbies?

@Ashleymac2417 I may be wrong, but I think you can work part-time on disability. I think there's no limit on hours worked but it's based on income. I don't know if you're good at art or crafting or anything, but I have a friend from an MS group who makes and sells stuff on Etsy on the side since she can't work anymore. And if you have a particular skill look at sites like Fiverr where you can do freelance stuff. :)

I'm sorry to hear that, must be awful for you. I'm single so don't have such problems. My last partner was aware of my diagnosis and was totally cool about. It wasn't that that threatened our relationship. Do you think your partner can be having a hard time accepting your diagnosis? It impacts their life as well, as a matter of fact. I am sure that talking it all out can help. Should give it a try!

Hello!! I was working for the federal government and I was let go after nine years. I applied for WE DO and I was approved. I have been married for over 18 years. My wife knew about my disability before we got married. Good luck everyone!!

I have felt that way myself! I had a problem thinking know one would accept me. I lived with someone for 13 yrs & Intimacy for us was down the drain until I met my king. Give it time and pray.

So I have been approved for disability because I limp when I walk an my right hand it weak. My boyfriend an I want to move in an move forward but I can’t work to be able to help an there be a second income. I don’t know what to do. So my question is has anyone gone through this an what was your outcome?
