Hi, I have vision problems. I can have it on as large letters as they get and I can’t read them sometimes they’re so blurry. I went to the doctor first I found out that I haven’t seen the eye doctor in five years but I wear glasses since I was younger. I can’t believe I waited that long, but I got new glasses been about eight months still got the same problem still can’t see all the time I mean it’s not every day thing, but it is there quite often. I had surgery for a coma which I was diagnosed with recently before I got the glasses, I didn’t help either, so I don’t know , I guess you live with it

Mine started tree years prior to being diagnosed. I woke up and couldn’t open my left eye, and when I did with my index finger and thumb it hurt. I was diagnosed with optic neuritis by an optic neurologist after a MRI.

@Polina.K It is weaker, but still have full vision in both eyes. My biggest issue at the time was my location. Southern California, at the time, was not diagnosing many patients with MS, so I was just prescribed a pair of glasses so i could strengthen the eye that was affected.

I have vision problems. Although they have not necessarily gotten worse, I have stopped driving for the last 3 years. It’s frustrating because when I turn my head to the right my vision is doubled and yet no doctors seem to find any reason for this.

I stsrted having vision problems last year. It got to the point where I counldnt hardly see anything. Everything was a blurr. Part of it maybe came from the fact that I had to go on heart medication. I was set up to see a eye doctor who deal with MS eye issues. I was prescribed contacts to correct the blurriness that also kicked in my vertigo. When Im not wearing the contacts to wear glasses at a specific range. This really helped tremendously. Now when I don't wear the contacts for a day or two because Im just home doing much of nothing I noticed my vision begins to get bad again. I also noticed that once I was prescribed Vitamin D 50000 per week my vision also got better but will wane close to the end of the week before another dose to due.

Hey @QueenAngel55!

How are you today? I never knew Vitamin D could help a little! Do you do everything yourself or does someone help you? I imagine it must be frustrating... I wish you only the best

Hi everyone I have had visual issues with my ms I have been relatively lucky with mine and were treated with steroids and improved My vision has been not as great before ms so I maybe didn't notice it too badly I don't notice it now and just carry on with it I wasn't able to read for a while but that improved due to improved reading glasses (and reading a bit less due to fatigue) I think I was lucky with my experience
