Cancer treatment can be difficult to go through. It often has severe side effects and sometimes leads to complications. Tell us your story!

What are the side effects (fatigue, diarrhea, pain, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, mouth sores, etc.) of your (or the patient’s) treatments for your metastatic breast cancer you have to deal with?
How side effects are impacting your (or the patient’s) daily life (hobbies, work, chores, etc.)?
Did you observe a change in the management of the side effects of oral and injectable treatments by your doctors?

Hi @LizziB

I had all the side effects listed. The worst was the hair loss. Nothing can really prepare you for losing chunks of your hair. I was really freaked out and it really made me feel like a cancer patient, like it is screaming it to the world. At work, it was hard to concentrate on tasks but I was glad I was still able to work, it took my mind off the nausea. Taking care of the family was also more challenging, I'm glad my husband was able to pick up some of the tasks.
