I've been diagnosed with he Covid-19 long haulers syndrome by a matter of eliminating other diseases including heart and lung disease.  I'm also bipolar so this is very hard on me mentally.  I have constant fatigue, shortness of breath with moderate exertion, dizziness, extreme thirst, and brain fog.  I had the virus in December of 2020 and these symptoms have persisted ever since.  I've had the vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) and no improvement after that.  The doctors say they aren't even sure how long the syndrome will last.  Some people are "cured" in a few weeks, others it seems to go on.   They only treat symptoms.  I basically have no treatable symptoms.  I'm trying to increase my stamina by walking and I joined a health club and will be doing senior exercise classes( I'm 65).  I stay hydrated the best I can.  The cardiologist told me I had the heart of an 18 year old!  And so I don't have to worry about the palpitations that I get.  My lungs are fine.  My lab work was spot on so nothing showed up to indicate anything abnormal.  I have to live with this awhile!  My "new normal"!

Hello @DebRog56‍, thank you for opening this discussion! I've moved it to our long-haul COVID community "Living with Long COVID" for more visibility! If you haven't already, you can add Long COVID to your profile here: Long COVID. Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you!

Hi everyone, how are you doing? Can any of you share your experience of Long COVID? When did you have COVID-19? When did you know that you have Long-COVID? What are your symptoms? Have they changed over time? Have you been given any medications or treatments?
@Nicole83‍ @HarryP‍ @CovidJoe‍ @kevvv124‍ @Lizzyliz‍ @EcZena‍ @kowmidnite123‍ @jilly58‍ @captainreddog‍

Take care,
Courtney
