Hi everyone,

Endometriosis is often called an “invisible” condition, but for many, the pain and fatigue are anything but. What makes things even harder is how long it can take to get a proper diagnosis. Some wait years. Others are misdiagnosed again and again.

  • How long did it take before you were officially diagnosed?
  • Did doctors listen to your symptoms early on?
  • What advice would you give someone still looking for answers?

My endo led to two d&can't and later on a finding of HPV cervical cancer and a lapo- hysterectomy only able to save my right ovary. I was 30 in 2011. I did testing in Oct my second husband passed 11-19-11 by July 2012 I lost my ability to ever have a child/children. Don't ever stop asking question or taking the testing. I made that mistake and my heart aches every time a new baby comes into my family or friends. I often feel cheated and can't afford adoption or anything around it. I am now 46 and I bed of anyone here reading this don't give up or settle; I did and it haunts/ hurts me since.
