How are your sleep patterns? That was something my doctor urged me to focus on. I thought it was a silly request, since my depression kept me up at night and my lack of motivation kept me in bed all morning. But i spent 6 weeks really focusing on habits that would improve my sleep and it ended up helping a lot. Ask your doctor for a sleep specialist or just google "how to get better sleep" they might tell you similar tricks

Hi @whatistheissue
How are you doing today?
I am sorry to hear you are falling back into a small depression. Eating healthy and working out is a great way to start. As @mvn481 said, sleep schedule is also very important. I always find playing and caring for a pet brings me out of a mood.
I will tag a few other members, maybe they can tell us what they do to ward off depression.

Beyond medication, what do you do to pull yourself out of a depression? Do you have any stories to share? What advice can you give?
Take care,

Hey
So this summer had been very stressful for me and I've been fighting depression. I have to work two jobs to pay for rent but its been manageable. Although, recently it seems so difficult to get motivated to do them.
I try to take care of my body, I find time to work out, and eat relatively healthy. Usually these things keep my mental health stable. But now, its not doing the trick. I managed to get myself off of wellbutrin by doing this, but I'm wondering if I have to go back on it..
Anyone else have some ideas?
