Does anyone else wish they could just sleep all day and night for weeks or even months till the pain stops. Wish they had a pill for that

Hi @Tamra1‍ ... what type of pain are you experiencing? Or are you talking about the "pain" of depression?

I wish I could sleep all the time, just so I do not have to wake up and face the days because some days I get very depressed just from life and everything I have been through.

If it is the other pain you are experiencing, I hope you can find a doctor or some form of treatment that can help you.... I know acupuncture always relaxes me.

@gottgetbtr the pain of depression unfortunately , i mean i suffer with migraine as well but sometimes those can be a blessing to distract me from my mental pain

I can relate to wishing to sleep the pain away. I too get migraines as well. What kind of pain or feelings do you wish will go away ? We are here to listen with an open mind, love , and without judgement. But I can relate to this and I wish to stop time and sleep it all away.

@Tamra1 I know what you mean! I struggle daily, but it is getting better... I have been doing various things to try and better my depressive episodes/depression besides just the medication.

About 2 weeks ago I hit the rock bottom again and was sleeping in and sleeping a lot... I was able to because I was working less hours those weeks and I was not studying (even though I should have been) because I was just so depressed... however, now I am working more hours again and using all my free time to study. I am trying to stay busy busy and exercise again and grasp a hold of things I cannot change and change those I can... such as my mental mood.

I hope to hear from you soon so we can be here for you also.

What is stressing you out exactly? Is it everyday things or is it depression? Do you have Facebook Messenger? my name Is Leland Reed. If you do then we could talk easier on there. Oh do not give up on life. I know how you feel. I was telling my doctor the other day I wish I could go to sleep for a good long time. It would be so god if the body and the mind could heal themselves in about a week. I am here for you.
