Hello everyone,

There are many food plans / diets that propose they can help ease pains and aches, as well as helping reduce stiffness and pain caused by inflammatory conditions, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis.

Have you tried changing your diet and following a food plan that proposes to help with pain?

If so, which diet plan did you follow? Please share whether it resulted in any benefits or if no benefits.

It is important to also state what is cuasing the chronic pain, as certain diets may help inflammatory conditions, but some chronic pain may be cause by injury/trauma/surgery and not from an inflammatory condition.

My friend follows the Whole 360 diet and has seen some benefits in pain reduction - nothing drastic, but he says he notices less; but the pain is still there.

He has rheumatoid arthritis I believe.

Hi members, this is a great discussion - one that has been discussed in many of the different condition groups, since a symptom of many chronic conditions is pain. So please join in on this discussion and share your experience in regard to diet/food plan.

Also, please join this group if you have already not by adding the condition "Chronic Pain" to your profile by clicking ADD CONDITION here https://member.carenity.us/conditions . This group is dedicated solely to chronic pain... so it is a group for anyone who deals with chronic pain, whether it is from surgery, other trauma, inflammatory conditions, etc.. where to discuss the topic of pain alone --> see all other topics here: https://member.carenity.ushttps://www.carenity.us/forum/chronic-pain/living-with-chronic-pain-34

I have tried the Whole 360 type of diet - just looked it up. And it did nothing for my pain from OA and surgeries. Maybe my pain is just not strictly from inflammation or maybe these diets only work for people who are in pain because of systemic inflammation, like RA.
