Rant: living with this invisible chronic torture and acting normal

Thank you for sharing how you feel with us. You're right; the double standard can get frustrating. Chronic pain is a daily battle, and empathy and understanding from others would make a world of difference. Also, it's completely okay to rant and let it out sometimes!
