Have you tried to relieve pain with a sauna or ice bath? Is it successful? Where do you go for these services or do you do it at home? How frequently do you do it?
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team

@LizziB No I don’t do this. I’m having a shot of a steroid put in my spine this morning for pain. I can’t walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. Hopefully this helps. We have a David Phelps concert this Friday.

@LizziB I haven't yet but waiting on warmer weather to go to pool if I can walk there. There is some ice boots I would like to purchase on Amazon eventually that would feel great on my feet

@LizziB Ice baths make me feel worse. Heat takes the edge off, but there is nothing that takes the pain away.

Ice packs mainly for swellinginmy lumbar area.. As for heat. I use an twin size heat electric blanket. My issues start in my lumbar area and go to my feet. This is a way I can get l areas.

I've tried using both, but sauna helps me more. Relaxes my muscles and eases tension, especially after a workout or a long day. Besides, I passed some treatments at physiotherapy toronto which put me back on track.

Actually this method is quite unscientific. There are many [This content has been moderated by an administrator for violating Carenity’s Terms of Use.] oriental medicine methods that can be consulted. I find it benign and highly effective. It can be studied and approached more.

I use the hot tub frequently. It is set at it's highest temperature, but I've acclimated to it and wish the temp went a bit higher! I use the jets on pressure points, too. I only stay in for about 20 minutes at a time.

Hi
I was wondering if anyone had tried to use the sauna or cold/ice baths to manage pain?
