He is 54 years young. Treatment has not been started yet. Port goes in Jan. 10 2020 and radiation starts Jan. 17 2020. He has been so sick these last few days, like today all he has done is sleep he won't eat anything. I feel sooo bad.  He hurts and is weak. I'm really having a hard time dealing.

My son at 45 has been going chemo for years, just found out that it  has spread to his brain. He is very weak and sleeps all the time, like your brother.  Any food nauseates him and he vomits a lot, even when he doesn't eat anything.  I am devastated. I'm also having a hard time dealing with this.   He started radiation, but not much difference yet. I feel so helpless.

@Mselig00 my sister is 54 and was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. It's spread to her liver, spine, lungs and bones. She isn't doing chemo or radiation at this time. She had 4 rounds of chemo and 2 radiation sessions and scans confirmed neither was helping. I understand how helpless you feel. It literally makes my heart hurt to see her like this.

Thank goodness @Mselig00

i feel your pain. Sending a virtual chain of hearts to surround you with the support of others going thru similar challenges. No one knows exactly the pain you are facing but, together, we must hold each other and keep positive thoughts. If not for a cure, a peace and serenity and faith that will be our strength and our loved ones strength.

Hello everyone,

I work at a design company called Doberman and am currently working on a project that aims to make cancer recovery more comfortable. Are you in the NYC area this week? Would you be interested in speaking with us—about an hour long research session at our studio in East Williamsburg or someplace locally?

Participants will receive a small Amazon gift card as a thank you!

If so please fill out this screener and we would love to speak with you! [link removed by Moderator for violating community standards]

@Mselig00 praying for relief from pain for your brother. I feel what you are going through, I've done chemo and radiation, then less than a year later I found out that I have 7 tumors. Mostly in my neck area, lymphnodes and one tumor in my lung. They are all pretty small in size but I started immunotherapy and I've had 8 rounds so far and I can still feel one of the tumors in my neck, my oncologist felt it too and he said it doesn't bother him and for me not to worry. We are going to do a PET scan this Tuesday so he can see what's going on, my pain is so bad, and it just never seems to let up at all. It's horrible, it has affected my life in every way. I take pain medicine and it helps but not enough. But I'm trying to stay positive and believe that I'm going to beat this. And I pry that your brother will start getting some relief and start feeling better!
