From the little I know, there are cancers that are highly treatable and one can live cancer free. Not so much with other cancers that are very aggressive and seem to rear their ugly head from time to time. I have multiple myeloma which is treatable, however not curable. I am starting my third therapy soon as the first two worked for nearly a year each, but not in the long run. My life seems to revolve around waiting for the cancer to return and finding a therapy that works for me. I try to be active, socially involved, and keeping a positive attitude. Does not always work that way, but it is my path. Good luck to all fighting the good fight.
