@Priscilla34 @Ashleyj Hello Priscilla34 and Ashleyj, thank you for opening and participating in this discussion. Crisis hotlines can be a great resource for getting immediate help and support. I'll list a few here for you:
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24/7 if you need to talk to someone right away: 1-800-273-8255
They also have a 24/7 Lifeline chat on their website here.
You can also speak with someone over text on the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741 in the US or Canada, or by messaging them on Facebook here.
I hope this helps, please don't hesitate to share how you're feeling with us here, we're all here to support you as well.
Take care,
Courtney

There were times when I relied on mental health hotlines just to get through the night, and they truly gave me the first step toward seeking help. But having a local psychiatrist in New York who is committed to providing long-term, optimal care has made all the difference. With highly qualified psychiatrists and psychotherapists, a friendly staff, and even the convenience of televisits, I finally feel like I’m not just surviving but actually moving forward in my mental health journey.

I’m curious if anyone has used any mental health crisis hotlines before and if they were helpful to them? I’ve been having some really down days lately and just want to have one on hand in case I really need it.
