So every time I feel like I have my feet on the ground, something or somebody else pulls it right out from under me and then laughs at me. I physically cannot breathe sometimes because my anxiety is so incredibly bad. I've been having to learn that I just cannot trust anyone at all. And that people will listen to the man before the "woman". The world is just so suffocating. I can't even go out and meet people because my entire brain ceases to process anything that's going on. I have finally gotten myself to a point where I am surviving on my own and my car gets totaled. I get a new car a couple of weeks later and it breaks down four days into having it. I've been relying on rides for a month now. I do know that my situation could be a lot worse, but by the time I convince myself of that, something so incredibly unfair and sexist that is out of my control happens. I just convinced myself that I am even alive. And I can't even really talk to anyone about it because I work with them or they're busy. I can't keep dealing with this.

Hi @SabineX‍, thank you for opening this discussion and sharing what you've been going through. Anxiety can really be so overwhelming and destablizing. Some days it can really feel like someone is there waiting to pull the rug out from under us. Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you.

Hi everyone, how are you doing? Can you relate to what SabineX describes? Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by your anxiety that you can't function or leave your house? What do you do when it feels like everything is crumbling around you? Can you share any support or advice?
