Good advisor

Hello everyone,

How are you doing today? emoticon cute

Are you going on vacation this summer? Do you have any concerns about traveling due to the COVID-19 pandemic? Are you going to get vaccinated so you can go on holiday? If you do plan on traveling, are you planning on keeping your vacation stateside or going abroad?

Feel free to share and exchange in the comments below!

Take care,
Courtney

Good advisor

@Courtney_J We'll be doing our vacation at the beach in North Carolina again this year like we did last year. Between the delta variant and the whole vaccine passport being confusing and uncertain and other countries having a hard time getting the vaccine rolling we feel safer staying home. We have family in the UK it'd be nice to visit but we're all not feeling good about it all yet. We've all been vaccinated, but there's still a risk we could bring it home or spread it. Maybe this time next year we'll feel better taking the plane and traveling further. With my asthma I don't want to take too much risk.

Good advisor

I am fully vaccinated, and have been for four months.  The only time I really don't wear a mask is when I am with family, who are fully vaccinated, and at work at my desk.  When I get up from my desk I put my mask on.  There are so many people who are antivaxers, and still don’t believe that COVID-19 and it’s variants are real, but then contract it.  I will walk the safe road, wear a mask, wash and sanitize not only myself, but also me belongings when I take them away from where they were.

I do feel safe traveling.   I will most likely still wear my mask at certain events.   Let's get back to having fun!!

We are all vaccinated and we are taking a camping trip to Duluth the middle of July.  I plan to go out to see my daughter and her family in Fargo the end of July.  We are planning a trip to New Orleans in October for a late 50th anniversary trip.  I still carry masks with me and take precautions in crowds, which I never like to be around.

Good advisor

I feel ok about traveling in general with so many people vaccinated. Not totally at ease yet in crowd situations and I still wear my mask in stores and restaurants. My son was watching the European soccer cup the other day and I was shocked to see how crowded the stadiums were. I don't think I could be in that kind of setting yet.
