Good advisor

Hello members,

In this discussion, I will describe how to use the "Search" function on Carenity.

Search Tool Location:

In the top-left corner, on any page, you will find the search tool. You can see it in the image below with the yellow arrow pointing to it.

How To Search:

To use the search, click the cursor into the text where it says "Search on Carenity" and type in the keyword or keywords that describe what you are searching for.

In the example below, we are searching for "cancer treatments". After typing in the text, you will get a drop-down menu of top results for different areas of Carenity: Discussion Groups, Discussion, Fact Sheets, and Testimonials.

You can click one of these top results or you can simply, after typing in your keyword, hit enter to be able to utilize the broad utility of the search tool.

How To Navigate The Search Results

After hitting enter, you will be taken to a search results page, which will turn up all the areas of Carenity that match the keyword(s), organized by Content Type: Discussions, Discussion groups, Members, Fact sheets, News updates, Testimonials, Surveys, Recipes, and Help.

For example, if you are searching for "cancer treatments" you will be able to locate all the discussions and discussion groups that are related to the keyword(s) "cancer treatments", as well as all members that in their profile relate to "cancer treatments", and much more.

If you are looking for members diagnosed with a certain condition to connect to, we recommend searching by the condition (the condition will be your keyword). For example, if you are wanting to find all members whose profile identifies with "Depression", type in depression into the search tool, hit enter, and then click under Content Type: Members. (See example below)

The Carenity search tool is very powerful and can help you locate any topic, keyword, member, discussion, etc. that you are searching for.

If you have any questions or concerns on using this tool, feel free to comment and tag me below or send me a private message. I would be happy to assist. Also, if you found this helpful, feel free to drop a comment below.
