Every year on June 15, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is observed around the world. In acknowledgement with the intent of WEAAD to raise awareness of elder abuse, Carenity commemorates this day and thinks of all those who have been, and currently are, affected by the unacceptable occurence of elder abuse.
