Hello everyone!

How are you today? 😊

With chilly weather coming, I was wondering what your best tips are for staying healthy and avoiding catching a cold.

Here are a few of mine:

Washing hands regularly
Dressing warmly
Maintaining a balanced diet
Staying hydrated
Exercising regularly
Limiting close contact with sick people
Getting enough quality sleep
Being up-to-date on vaccinations
Managing stress to avoid weakening the immune system
Regularly ventilating indoor spaces

As someone with a chronic illness or close to someone who does, what specific precautions do you take during winter to avoid infections? Do you have any particular advice for strengthening the immune system? How do you manage your illness symptoms during winter?

I keep hand sanitizer with me and sanitize when I come in contact with anyone and can’t wash my hands. I stay to myself mostly but when I do go out I am very cautious:

Staying healthy is always a priority, especially with the weather acting up. Personally, I focus a lot on maintaining a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and veggies. It's amazing how much that can do for your immune system [This content has been moderated by an administrator]. And, of course, getting enough sleep is key! I find that when I'm well-rested, my body is better equipped to fight off any potential illnesses. Also, staying hydrated - I drink tons of water. How about you?
