To be honest for me every day is a struggle to get out of bed so I find myself forcing myself to get up and face the day.

The delight of now being retired and allowing the incoming daylight through my window to awaken me vs the dark thirty-five phone alarm. I enjoy my online time, can do DIY projects, or if painful that day, Lists for my plans. I care for my 86 yr-old Mother who lives with me and no longer need to do phone check-ins from work to make she she answers and hasn't fallen, etc. :-) I have more interest in cooking and have time for hobbies - sewing, etc or to read a book on my Nook whenever I wish :-)

Sometimes, finding motivation to start the day can feel almost impossible, especially when living with a chronic illness or mental health challenges. Yet even on tough days, thereβs often something, big or small, that gives us a reason to get up and keep going π¬
Sharing your experiences can help others feel less alone and discover new ways to find motivation and hope every morning π
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity Team π
