Hello everyone,
How are you doing? 😊
Eating locally means supporting our local producers who sell fresh, seasonal products; products that are allowed to properly ripen and are therefore richer in nutrients! It can also allow you to vary your diet throughout the year.
What do you think? Do you eat locally-produced and/or seasonal products? Why or why not? Do you know of any added benefits of eating this way?
Feel free to share your thoughts here!
Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team

I find that the fruits and vegetables taste better. When the tomatoes are grown in a hot house, I really don't think they taste very good.

I think it's cool to be able to eat what your state is known for. If you're on the coast that might be fish or seafood, if it's somewhere green, maybe that's apples, if you're in Idaho, it's potatoes, etc! And idk, part of me feels like that's healhier? It's like meant to be? And then supporting local business is obviously great. I try to go to the farmers market when I can, but lately they've all been closed near me because of COVID.
