It has been awhile since I have posted anything, because I waited to get answers from the right dr. I was finally referred to a Rheumatologist. So now I am seeing a Rheumatologist and a nephrologist. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease, Sjogren's, and sle Lupus. The Sjogren's has attacked my eyes and my kidneys. I have dry mouth and dry eyes. Sometimes I see double vision. I have bad headaches. Confusion. I am taking hydroxychloroquine 200 mg twice a day and some kind of medication for my kidneys sodium something and medication for my high blood pressure, also prednisone 5 mg . Whatever made me think that we could get old and not have medical issues? Oh and I am always fatigue 😩
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Let's get through these Holidays together the best we can. 🎄❤️

Hello everyone, how have you been feeling lately? 🎀
The holiday season is often described as a time of joy and togetherness. But for many people living with chronic illness, it can also be a time of fatigue, stress, loneliness, or feeling misunderstood.
Last month, we asked members of the Carenity community how they experience the holidays when living with a chronic condition. Some shared that this period brings mixed emotions rather than clear joy. Others talked about increased fatigue, health-related stress, or feeling isolated even when surrounded by loved ones. Many described adapting the holidays to their needs by resting more, simplifying plans, or setting boundaries.
We’ve gathered these insights into an infographic to make members’ experiences more visible and to remind everyone that there is no “right” way to live the holidays when health is fragile.
You can explore the infographic and survey highlights here 👇

I’d really like to open the discussion:
If you feel up to it, your experience could really help others feel understood.
Take care and best wishes for the holidays,
Somya from the Carenity team 🧑🎄
