I enjoy positive affirmations and things I can relate to as far as recovery from both mental health and substance use disorder. When I can relate to situations or poems because I either am going through it or been through it, I like and share it. I donβt read or share negative thoughts and feelings. I keep scrolling until I get something positive, or I can relate. If it is something controversial, I use a nickname or go incognito when posting a comment. I can relate so much to the many posts I get. Helps me make sense and to feel and know Iβm not alone.
Hope you all have a great day!

It simultaneously exposes patients to harmful medical misinformation, algorithm-driven worry, and toxic "toxic optimism" that invalidates their everyday challenges while offering instant social support and essential health insights to lessen loneliness.

Hello everyone,
How are you today? π
Social media has become a major source of information and support for people living with chronic illnesses. It can help connect you with communities, allow you to share your experiences, and make you feel less alone.
But itβs not always positiveβsocial media can also bring challenges, such as comparisons, misinformation, or added pressure.
πΒ Whatβs your experience?
Letβs discuss and share our experiences together!
π Looking forward to hearing your thoughts,
Somya from the Carenity team πΌ
