Hello @sixfour, thank you for opening this discussion, I think it could be helpful to many of us to hear about your experience!
What made you decide to move to assistant living? What is your apartment like? What do you like to do in your AL community? Are there things that are more or less convenient?
If anyone else has any questions or if you want to share your own experience, feel free to join in!
Take care,
Courtney

Living here in assisted living is better than other options for me. I voluntarily decided that I needed assisted living at the same time I voluntarily decided to give up driving and sell my car. I have two Auto Immune diseases that made this necessary. I have a lovely apartment and enjoy three outstanding gourmet meals daily. My I Phone and lap top make living here pleasant.

My Laptop Computer and I Phone have been of great help and I spend much of my day on them. I order things for myself through Amazon and get the items delivered to my apartment. I have a kitchenette and will order wines that I like and other food items on line despite having three gourmet meals available to me every day. I will fix my own meal sometimes for a Change of Pace. I have a large screen TV and watch Netflix and Amazon Prime.
