Hi everyone 🌼

How are you feeling today?

Sometimes when we open up about our illness, people don’t know how to respond, and their reactions can feel… off.

Maybe they go silent.

Maybe they speak to you with pity in their voice.

Maybe they start treating you like you’re fragile or broken.

Even if it comes from a place of care, it can still feel frustrating, disempowering, or just plain awkward. 🤷

💬 Let’s talk about it:

  1. Do you hate it when someone reacts with pity or treats you like a victim?
  2. Do you say something in the moment, or let it go?
  3. Have you found a way to explain your condition without inviting those kinds of reactions?

Take care,

Im not sure what to call it. I have several health issues, when i share some of those and my limitations, which i work hard not to publisize, or share. But sometimes you have to for your own safety and fear of the consiqunces. I get push back that that i am acting like a victim, and things arent that bad, and i am faking it, mostly from family.
