Human beings are always on a quest for wellbeing. This quest seems to intensify more and more, and some professional fields have made it their business. With the trend of personal development, we see the emergence of new professions such as coaching.

Have you ever used a wellness and health coach? Why or why not? What were the benefits? In your opinion, what kind of training and certification is necessary for you to trust a coach?

I have not used a Health Coach or Trainer. I have not used the services of these professionals because I am not sure how to choose a Health Coach or Trainer. Do I need one or the other or both? How will this benefit me? What is the difference between a medical person and/or a health coach? Where do I find a Health Coach? Will my insurance cover these services? What benefits will I receive from a Trainer as opposed to joining an exercise class? I know that I need guidance. However, I do not know what direction or choices I should make.

@Ms.Vee Hi. I recommend to speak to your primary doctor. I have a therapist covered by my insurance that is helping me. Usually when a doctor recommends to use services of others, most insurance company covers it, but I am not sure about a health coach or trainer. You may want to call your insurance company to ask. I hope this helps.
