Hello everyone, how are you doing?🙋

Sometimes, managing a chronic illness can mean having to make tough decisions about medications. While doctors aim to recommend the best treatments, you might occasionally feel pressure to take medications that don't feel quite right for your body, your lifestyle, or your comfort level.🧐

Maybe you've experienced side effects that made you hesitant, or perhaps you felt rushed into a treatment plan without enough time to consider other options. It can be challenging to speak up, especially when you want to trust your healthcare team. Yet, finding a balance between medical advice and your own well-being is so important.

👉 Have you ever felt conflicted about starting or continuing a medication?

👉 How do you handle situations where you feel uncomfortable with your treatment plan?

👉 Have you found ways to advocate for yourself in conversations with your doctor?

I've had a number of incidents over the years. Sometimes I tell the doctor all my reasons for having concerns and I get told to take the medication or the service anyway. Like they don't listen.
