Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? 😊

Healthcare systems and lifestyles vary so much around the world. 🌍 Some countries prioritize prevention, while others focus on treatments.

💭 What about you?

  • Do you think your condition would be easier or harder to manage in a different country?
  • Have you ever considered moving for better healthcare or a different climate?
  • What do you wish your country’s healthcare system could learn from others?

Let’s explore this fascinating topic together! 💬

Take care,
Somya from the Carenity Team 🌷

I believe that managing diabetes might be significantly easier in many European countries due to their universal healthcare systems, which prioritize affordability, accessibility, and preventative care. Some European nations even include alternative therapies, like PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy, as part of their covered treatments. This holistic approach to healthcare could help reduce out-of-pocket expenses for managing diabetes while providing access to innovative therapies. I’ve considered moving to Belgium, where my family is from, to access affordable care and improve my overall quality of life. I wish the USA’s healthcare system could learn to integrate comprehensive, affordable coverage for advanced therapies like PEMF and adopt a more patient-centered approach, particularly for chronic conditions like diabetes.

Hello.

It is Keith here.

I do not know. To hear it explained, it would be easier, in some countries they are further behind than we are. And living with it is different.

Hi & happy Sunday. Regardless where u live, here in Minnesota, Twin Cities, Freezing Cold, even by Minnesota's standards!! Mid 20's Below 0! Yikes, dangerous wind chills! I won't venture out, myself.

Interesting question, would I live someplace else, if healthcare was different?? Not sure. I know the States healthcare system is Totally screwed up! Possibly the entire world's is, too. Not super familiar w other countries healthcare systems. Think I've heard Scandinavian countries have decent healthcare. Yet, w their geographic proximity, I Know I couldn't live that far North. Minnesota winter's are bad enough. Certain areas of States aren't that great either, like deep South. Minnesota is known for Mayo Clinic, down S of cities, in Rochester. Dignitaries come from all over there. It is well renowned. Personally, I think here is 1 of best places to get healthcare. Thanks for others responses.
