How are you today? emoticon bashful

The COVID-19 lockdown imposes a change in our pace of life that can be detrimental to the quality of our sleep. Sleep plays an essential role in the proper functioning of our immune system and is an ally in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Are you sleeping well lately? Are you experiencing insomnia?
What tips are you using to help you sleep better during this difficult period (food supplements, meditation, etc.)?

Is end of the lockdown a source of anxiety for you?

@Courtney_J Oh my sleep has been SO BAD lately. I'm convinced it's from the lack of exercise or just general movement and getting out into the sun. I try to take a walk or two per day but I feel like it's not enough. I feel like my circadian rhythm is all thrown off. I have a really hard time falling asleep and then I wake up sporadically throughout the night.

My sleep has been really bad too. Lately I haven't been able to fall asleep until really late but then I have to get up in the morning for my life obligations so I've just been kind of spiraling in lack of sleep and stress. My roommate has a CBD pen he lets me borrow from time to time and that really helps me calm down and get to sleep. Not sure what the legality is in other peoples' states but if it's legal in your state I recommend!

@Courtney_J My sleep isn't the greatest anyway because I have COPD (constantly waking up coughing or needing the bathroom, etc.) but the virus certainly hasn't helped. I've even noticed it in my wife, who's completely healthy. I tend to go for medications like melatonin because I don't want to drink before bed and make my situation worse and it helps.
