I did try acupuncture and it did work to some extent... my migraines went from being multiple times a day at times to a couple of times a day. I never have had migraines like some people who have had them straight for days. My migraines usually come and go throughout the day, but can remain all day on bad days. But I usually get some sort of break from the migraines.
I could not continue with the acupuncture because the cost was just too much and the drive was not reasonable. I have an acupuncturist closer to my house, but he is a chiropractor, who I went to once, but he seems to just want to adjust me and perform minutes of acupuncture... which is not what I want nor what helped.

Acupuncture is a highly debated topic on its efficacy to reduce the intensity, duration, or frequency of migraines.
Some migraine sufferers have noted that they have experienced great reductions in their migraines from acupunture, while others have stated that they felt little to no relief.
Share and discuss with other migraine sufferers, show support, and offer advice.
