Hi Lee. Believe it or not, I did not notice any signs... it was first my partner that noticed that I was forgetting more often than before certain things ... it started with small things, like if she would tell me we were going to go to an event x day in the future. She began to be concerned and then I began to notice it as well. Quite some months later I decided to see my PCP about my worries.

Memory impairment and the lacking ability to carry out normal every day tasks are common symptoms of Alzheimer's disease; however, early on, minor difficulty in remembering recent events and discussions or difficulty in organizing thoughts may be early signs.
How about you? What was the situation that initially brought on the concern that you or a loved one may be facing the onset of Alzheimer's disease?
