How do you treat your atopic dermatitis or eczema? What has worked for you?

@Courtney_J My eczema tends to come and go seasonally now that I'm older, so I treat flares as they come and then generally try to keep myself moisturized. My doctor told me to drink lots of water so I try to do that, and then I try to only shower in lukewarm water so it doesn't dry out my skin as much and I put Johnson's baby oil all over right after coming out the shower and pat myself dry so it stays on my skin. When my eczema is really bad I use a hydrocortisone cream my doctor prescribes and I'll wear long sleeves or I'll bandage up the spots so the cream can stay put and soak in. 

Regular moisturising and other self-care routines can help with atopic dermatitis treatment. If none of these work, your doctor may recommend medicated lotions that reduce irritation and promote skin restoration....
