i had to come off of this medication in December as I was so fatigued from it I was not able to do hardly anything. So weak and my eyes got so blurry. Within a week of stopping it I was much better. However it took sometime to recover from the fatigue. I hope this helps someone if you are having similar problems you may need to talk to your doctor.

The cost of this medication is prohibitive. If you are a senior on a Medicare plan on insulin, you reach the “donut hole” very rapidly and the cost of the ozempic becomes prohibitive for seniors on a fixed income. The coupons around specifically say not for use if on a government plan. UNFAIR. The same goes for a lot of other drugs that would be helpful for seniors. We have to make choices. I NEED insulin but do not NEED Ozempic so I reach the “ donut hole “ rapidly. Also, I have COPD and the same problem exists with inhalers. Try fighting city hall.

My Doctor didn’t even prescribe me this medication, it was one of his associates!

I was at 7.8 that was down from 8.4 and that wasn’t goal for them so the put me on it and waited three months, the dose was .50 mg of it. I went down to 7.2 and though I was having explosive Diarrhea they wouldn’t take me off or reduce the dose, and because I wasn’t at the goal they wanted my dose was upped to 1 mg. I kinda got use to the side effects but my heart rate went up between 80 and 100 bpm. Im pretty sure it was because of the Ozempic.

i have lost some weight with it but I’m not eating that much anymore so not sure if it’s the medication helping or not. I know my morning sugars are in the low 50’s it scares me to be that low, so I have a piece of hard candy before bed to bring the numbers up.
