Health insurance coverage for me has been nothing but a hassle. I have been turned down by more therapists than I can count because they may say they take United Health Care they don't take the specific type of care I have, then there are the numerous therapists that are out of network so you are responsible for paying and then seeing if your insurance will reimburse you. I am so frustrated and aggravated, this is why folks don't reach out for help. I keep trying to find someone as I know I need help but there a big gaps between my tries.

Hey there, feeling alright today. Thanks for bringing up this topic of dealing with limited insurance coverage. It can be a real struggle, and I've definitely been there.
Here's what I found helpful:
Negotiating with providers: Sometimes, hospitals or clinics are willing to negotiate billing rates, especially if you explain your financial situation. It's worth asking!
Payment plans: Many medical providers offer payment plans, which can help spread out the costs and make them more manageable.

Hello everyone,
How are you feeling today?
Navigating health insurance coverage can be one of the most confusing and frustrating aspects of the healthcare system. Many of us have faced situations where the treatments, medications, or services we need are not fully covered by our insurance plans. This can lead to significant financial strain and difficult decisions about our health care.
How have you personally navigated these challenges? What has been your experience with being denied insurance and managing the financial burden of out-of-pocket expenses? Have these costs influenced your treatment decisions?
Any input from your end is highly appreciated!
Best,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
