Hi Lee. Yes. I did have surgery to remove a tumor close to my spinal cord. It caused me great pain and angst... however, I go it removed. Not sure if the tumor caused it, I was younger then. But I have permanent scoliosis.

Hi everyone,
while there is no cure at this time for neurofibromatosis, one of the more common treatments is an operation to remove problematic growths or tumors. Such an operation, and the therapy after, can be challenging and concerning.
Have you had surgery to remove problematic growths or tumors? Where was the tumor or growth? How was the operation? How was the recovery?
