Hi twomes... I went through times like that where I was fed up with being on medication, but when I stopped abruptly, shortly after my mood swings and symptoms from schizophrenia began to be much more prominent. Ever since then, after discussing my concerns with my doctor, I realized that for some - like me with diagnosed schizophrenia - require medication to control their symptoms, but that for certain symptoms management can be don without medication... like some of where my anxeity stemmed from.

I would recommend speaking to the doctor about any concerns you have with treating your condition with medications purely and see if there are any other forms of treatment they recommend. Somethings that have helped me with my anxiety and social issues is removing stress, yoga/meditation, playing video games, and dedicating myself to something (work or school).

Sometimes I feel like I don't need medication for my depression.  I didn't take it for two days. And it was not good. I just wanted to feel normal. Is it always going to be this way without medication? It scares me to know I will never be a normal person without medication.
